Supporting the Supporter - A Workshop with Jenna Slaney

Very exciting news! On June 6th, we have Jenna Slaney from End Sexual Violence NL & St. John’s Pride coming down to provide another workshop roundtable event!

This roundtable will focus on the impacts of being in a “supporter” role within the community and/or non-profit sector. Jenna will facilitate the group through topics of compassion injury, healthy relationships, grief/loss, and collective care as we navigate these difficult parts of this beautiful, selfless, work and advocacy. Each person that attends will bring their own impactful knowledge and experience, which will help others in the group, so please feel free to show up, and share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. Let’s come together to have some hard, uncomfortable, taboo conversations, that only supporters understand. This roundtable discussion will be held at Quadrangle NL (330 Elizabeth Avenue, St. John’s, NL)  in our Second Space from 1pm-4pm. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
